| Ambitions | Growing up, his Meema told him stories of his grandfather who'd served in Starfleet. For as long as he could remember, he'd hear stories of Brainard Peters dashing through the stars, saving lives, discovering new life and new civilization, and he'd wonder why his father settled on earth to be a farmer. Growing he quickly learned to fix his father's equipment, because his chores got done faster if the equipment worked. This lead to high schools in engineering aptitude, but he still hopes one day to assume command of a starship. |

| Hobbies & Interests | Jon loves to hike and rock climb. On leave, he tries to find the best trails to walk, the most interesting cliffs to scale, and ultimately in the end, the best view once he reaches the summit. When he can't get the leave to go anywhere new, he spends his time in the holodeck checking out the places he'd like to go, or how some places were in the past. He also enjoys the challenge of manufactured climbing walls, of created trails and climbs of both a realistic and intentionally artificial nature. |
