Lynda checked her bird in with the repair team to do the part she couldn't do, which was the body of the bird. After that she would take over fixing up the engine since she liked to give her personal touch there to make sure it's as she wanted it to be. Stretching her arms over her head feeling her back pop in a few places she started towards Captain Keggle still puzzled by the Captain's request.

Elar was back in his office looking over somethings and curious as to why the captain spoke a lieutenant and not the squadron co. "Howard!" Elar shouted as she walked passed his open door, "come in and close the door." Seeing as it was a old fashion metal door.

Lynda made her way to Captain Keggle closing the door behind her as she did so then crossed her arms. "Yes Captain?" She asked wondering what she had done wrong this time.

"Sit." Was all he said looking up from his pile of PaDDs. He than reached for the bottom drawer of desk and pulled a bottle out, "you know what this is?"

She arched one finely groomed eyebrow. "No." She said not sure what he was holding in his hand other than a bottle and she didn't think that's what he meant.

Smirking Elar pulled two glasses out and pulled a golden/orange liquid into both of them. "It's called a Fire Whiskey it's a man's man's drink. But in my opinion if you're a pilot I don't care if you've tits your one of us." He said handing her one of the glasses, "good work out their lieutenant."

Lynda eyed him curiously, 'wait doesn't he normally yell at me at a drop of a hat especially if I accidentally crash my bird?' Lynda thought to herself deciding to find out where this was going. "Thank you Captain." She said taking one of the glasses without hesitation taking a sip of the Fire Whiskey without coughing or anything like a girl would normally do.

Elar downed his in one gulp wincing a little bit as it went down. Smirking at the women in front of him, "so to be brutally honest I didn't think you had the pilots spirit in you.......but that landing with the damage that you had sustain......well let's just say you proved me wrong. Which doesn't happen often."

"I am glad you think so." Lynda said looking him in the eyes before downing the last of her drink managing not to wince as the Captain had putting her class down as if to accept more if planned to continue with this attempt to get her drunk.

Elar just watched her one of the things made him a good pilot was reading people through how they flew seeing as pilots couldn't see the other pilots faces. Smirking he poured one more shot for both of them. "Hoorah!" He said softly before downing his shot.

"Hoorah!" Lynda said before downing her shot, not sure where this was going yet but so far she knew she could keep up with him at the very least.

"So after I landed I noticed that Neyes was speaking with you what did you two speak about?" Elar asked.

'Hmmm so that's what he's interested in. I was wondering why he wasn't chewing me out for the damaged bird.' Lynda thought to herself. "He was asking me if I thought my bird would survive." Lynda said honest. "Oh and asked me to let Captain King know there's a briefing should I see him." Lynda said leaving out the part where the Captain asked if she'd noticed anything odd about either of her Captain's.

Elar nodded, "and that's all?" He asked looking at her, "I mean are you sure he didn't ask you anything else?"

"Nothing though he did remark about the bump on my head." Lynda said indicating to her forehead with her finger. OK so he hadn't but it would account for how much time they talked.

He knew that wasn't it but he didn't have anything else to trap her up on. Just than a knock came on the door, "enter." Elar called in.

"Forgive me to interrupting." King said with a smile on his face seeing that his old friend had survived the skirmish. "I just wanted to check-in with my counterpart."

Lynda went quiet as she looked to King as he came in, "I should get back to my bird." She said moving to stand up.

It seemed the gods were finally looking after him cause the look on Howard's face was what he needed to know there was more to that conversation than just his gut.

Lynda started towards the door the Captain King had entered. "Oh Captain King, Captain Neyes wanted me to remind you there's a briefing if I saw you." Lynda said before leaving.
