Mission: In the Dark
Location: Flight Deck

"el-tee over here!" Tripae shouted seeing one of the new flight leaders. "Sorry that the squadron commander couldn't meet you. But I'm Marine Captain Tripae Lione the chief combat informations officer."

Jenssi nodded and with a small smirk, "it's good to see another common position within the Marines with my Star Navy. First Lieutenant Jenssi "Erinyes" Stazi. Former yellow flight leader on the USS Pendragon."

"Ah yes......you're the officer from the Tammeron Star Navy. I've heard of your exploits and am very impressed with what I've heard. I'm sure Marine Captain Elar "Harpyia" Keggle is also excited to meet you."

Jenssi nodded through her reading she also came across that man's name. Pulling a PaDD out of her bag she handed it to the senior Marine. "I've got a couple of other crew as well. a second lieutenant Carn "Rabbit" Carby who'll be my wingman and than Gunnery Sergeant Galen Tryol taking over the deck chief position."

Tripae took the PaDD and saw that these were direct orders from Marine command. "Alright....go ahead and get situated and than meet me in TiC." Tripae said having another feeling she was gonna like this pilot as well. As she walked away she was reminded of how close the Tammeron Star Navy was to the Bajoran resistance.

With that Jenssi nodded to Carby to head for yellows bunk the set-up for the pilots bunks were similar to that of the Pendragon. Galen would be bunking with the rest of the deck crew but with his own little cabin at the end of the bunk just like the flight leaders got. After a few minuets of looking through the squadrons data base and getting word from Carby that her stuff was stored she headed to the TiC.

The Marine guard just eyed Jenssi as she waited to be invited into the TiC by Lione. The Marine guard turned and pressed his palm against the biometric scanner. "Your cleared." He said as the door slid open. TiC was much brighter than usual seeing as it wasn't in operation mode. And compared to the TiCs on Tammeron battle stars it was much more sophisticated.

"Welcome to the ships nerve center. As you can see we can monitor pretty much everything. Mind you we're more mission specific but we tend to monitor everything." Tripae said with a small smirk.

"Impressive." Was all Jenssi said never one to show emotion. "I can see the squadron running much smoother seeing as all lines of contact come through here first."

Tripae smiled, "correct much easier than going through squadron commander or even the tactical officer. Than back to the squadron commander then finally you." Tripae said, "anyways while the command for the squadron is down on the planet I'm in-charge. So we'll be running CAPs and combat landings seeing as we have a chance for the beta shift to take the lead."

Jenssi nodded assuming they had a rough run in last time their squadron was fully utilized. "Sounds like a good idea to me. What do you need from me?"

"With you being the senior pilot I want you to run scenarios where we have combat landings and of course a few formation flyings prior to the combat landings.' Tripae said looking at the pilot. With a nod Jenssi pulled out her PaDD and started making some notes. "I'll give you a couple of days to come up with something." And with that Jenssi was excused to get planning.
