Teá was in the other small quarter that was in the barracks seeing as she was the only other officer in the unit. Teá kept her quarters spartan.

Her bed was always made, desk always had several stacks of PaDDs but it was always organized. She also had only two pictures one of her and Sean and just one of Sean. Her foot locker contained few personal items along with some specialized equipment. And her closest was similar mostly uniform, BDUs and some of her personal civilian clothing.

It was the next morning Teá was sitting at her desk looking at the picture of her and Sean. It was taken just over 6 months ago where things weren't simple but good. In fact it was the last time she stepped foot on Earth and last time her and Sean were in the same place together. They were Jamaica Sean had rented a small cottage in a private cove just outside a small fishing village.

Picking up the picture she allowed a thumb to rub Sean's face as she wished she could go back to those better times. Teá could still remember how it smelled when the winds blew and the salty sea air into the small cottage, and how the warm sand felt between her toes and most importantly how Sean's fingers felt like entangled with hers.

But that was in the past and as lovely as it was she needed to move on. And that meant opening up again to Sean and dealing with her past actions. Which was easier said than done but she also felt like she made a huge step with admitting things to Amelia. But a sharp rap on her door brought Teá out of her semi-dream like state. Snapping out of her day dream Teá took a second to realize someone was at her door, "enter."

Before leaving her small office Jasmine spent the morning looking over Teá's jacket. The jacket had her boot camp training and the 2 tours she did. Frustrating thing was after those 2 tours everything was classified which went right along with how she was found out about. Jasmine walked in, "greetings lieutenant." Jasmine said slightly limping as her hip had started bothering her.

"El-tee." Teá said jumping to attention still getting used to the second lieutenant being in-charge. "How can I help you?"

"Truthfully I was hoping that you could fill me in on your role and why Ellis kept you around?" Jasmine said taking a seat on the couch. Deciding that she wasn't going to be the first nor the last person with a classified background that she would deal with on this boat.

"First off to be honest I didn't really know Marine Captain Ellis King enough to explain why he wanted me to stay here. But I can help you with what my duties can be and how I can be useful to yourself and the rest of the ship." Teá said walking over to her footlocker and pulling out a bottle. "Draylaxian whiskey."

"Please." Jasmine said giving her a small smirk. "Fair enough about Ellis I'm in the same boat don't know the man well enough to truly comment on his decisions that he made while he ran the Marines here."

Pouring some into two tumblers Teá walked over and handed one to Jasmine. "Essentially I'm a liaison officer between yourself and the intelligence department." Teá said taking a sip of the whiskey, "my duties well be to make dealing with intelligence they can be difficult even on their best days." Teá smirked at that last comment of hers, "as for CoC for myself it'll be yourself, then Vindicator command team and finally Vindicators Intelligence department."

Jasmine slowly sipped on her whiskey as she listened to Teá go over her role. It seemed simple enough but like with all things intelligence it could get messy and messy fast. "Alright we'll need to make sure both intelligence and the command team understands your role." Jasmine said finishing off her whiskey.

"Of course I wouldn't have it any other way. My arrival has caused enough ripples." Teá said nodding to her superior officer. Jasmine set the glass down gave Teá a nod and headed out of her room and back to her office.
