Jasmine was in her office looking over her patrol list logistically the 51st just didn't have enough Marines which meant she would need to speak with security to help fill their ranks. Or even have security as standing patrol and the 51st as roaming patrols. Either way it meant dealing with a department that she didn't mind dealing with as long as they had a competent leader.

"Attention on deck!" Indys shouted as Jasmine walked out of her office and saw the 51st in parade. "Officer on deck!" Indys finished every member of the 51st snapped to attention.

"At ease." Jasmine said walking up to the front of the group of Marines, her Marines. "As you all heard we well docking at the Klingon shipyards. Our assignment is guarding access points onto the ship." Jasmine said this looking at the Marines, "I'll be getting your assigned duties on the assignment board by 0530 tomorrow." With that Jasmine nodded to Indys to dismiss the Marines as she headed for security.

Placing her hand on her outer upper right thigh she felt her type II phase pistol she always did that when leaving the barracks. Nodding to the two Marines on guard duty they both gave her a crisp quick salute which she returned. Stepping onto the lift she slipped the PaDD she was working on into one of the cargo pockets. "Security." She called out as the lift sped off taking her to the correct deck security was on.

Walking into security she looked around for Caldwell who she still assumed was in-charge. But he was sensing that something was off putting that to the back of her head she continued to look for Caldwell, "where the hell is that man?"

Chloe was actually guarding security and finding it quite boring until the Jarhead walked through her doors. Arching one brow her tail flicking in annoyance as she moved to make her way towards the Marine. She wasn't a huge fan of Marines. On board the Archer she had struggled and fought to try and bring Security and Marines together she had hoped to be the first security officer to manage it and as far as she could see it had blown up in her face because the Marine she worked with stabbed her in the back.

Chloe scowled slightly walking towards the Jarhead. "did you take a wrong turn?" She asked hands on her hips her type two phase pistol inches from her hand a habit she'd picked up from too many people shooting first and asking questions second.

"A pleasure to meet you to lieutenant." Jasmine said seeing this was gonna be more difficult than she thought.

Chloe hesitated before returning the greeting "A pleasure," She said a natural purr to her words.

"I came down here to see if I could get some held safeguarding the ship while we're in dock. My men can do it but I figured as you're ships security I would make a offer to see if you would like to help." Jasmine said crossing her arms wondering why in the hell this women automatically went for her weapon.

She didn't automatically go for her weapon her hand was just on her hip near it. She didn't show her surprise, her hope because she'd tried this song and dance before. "Is there any doubt the security department wouldn't do their part in securing the ship?" The feline officer asked not that she was trying to be a smart ass or condescending, but it felt kind of redundant to ask since she was asking security to do a job it was designed to do or how she saw it.

"What did you have in mind for a plan." Chloe asked.

"My unit is a small unit mainly used for SAROPS (Search and Rescue), VIP escort/protection and CQB (Close Quarter Battle) operations. But it's customary for the Marines to secure the ship while docked." Jasmine explained the role of the small Marine unit, "but I don't have enough men to secure all access points. So my thought was for your department to be stationary posts allowing my unit to do roaming patrols."

"That can easily be arranged." Said Chloe knowing most thought of security as just glorified space police, but the feline officer had always believed they could be more she felt it her duty to protect the ship and it's crew. Despite the fact that well they were mostly investigators. "I'm not chief here, but.....well I don't know who the chief is so I can get a list of security officers, but I'm sure we have enough to spare." She said walking over to a console.

"Thank you." Jasmine said pulling out her own PaDD her groupings were already done. They were easy as they would just split the 4 man fire teams down to 2 elements that would patrol between 2 or three and sometimes 4 access points.

Chloe brought up the security crew personnel and start to sort through them by skills so that she and the Marine could see who would best qualify.

After a few moments Jasmine had helped the naval lieutenant sort the list. "4 hour shifts 2 men at these access points and 4 at these." Jasmine said pointing them out the ones requiring the 4 men where the primary access points where as the 2 men posts were the cargo access points. These ones would also be patrolled more by the Marines as well.

"I think we got this sorted out then." Chloe gave a nod and would contact the sixteen officers that would be helping to secure the ship during dry dock.

Jasmine nodded and clicked a button submitting her assignments to her Marines. Giving a polite nod to the lieutenant Jasmine headed out and back to her home.
