Location: Earth

Teá was sitting at the bar in the NeedWant waiting for Jess who was coming from her office in Memory Alpha. Teá decided to go a bit punkish; black leggings that stopped at the ankles accompanied by a black pleaded skirt, black leather boots, and finally a simple black top along with her leather jacket. Luckily for her the weather was getting bit warmer and with how packed the NeedWant was the body heat from everyone also made the dive very warm.

Upside of the NeedWant was that it was near Memory Alpha; about a fifteen minuet walk which wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't the middle of winter. Wearing a midnight blue dress that went down to her knees, with her winter fleet black boots and charcoal grey pea coat. "Teá!" Jess called out as she made her way through the crowd after checking her coat.

Turning around Teá had a big grin on her face she leap off of her chair and quickly embraced Jess, "hey hun." Jess said all smiles returning the hug, "I've missed you and been worried about you." Jess said stepping back so she could get a better look at her. "How long has it been?" Jess asked as they both took a seat at the bar.

"I know it's been a trying time for everyone. But I've finally been recalled from the cold." Teá said nodding for the bartender to get them a couple of beers. "Still have a couple of enemies both within the Federation and outside of the Federation. But overall I'm doing better." Nodding to the bartender Teá took a sip of her beer.

"That's good. In all honesty I know some of what happened to you at least on the fleet side of things. Which I am sorry for everything that you've gone through." Jess said taking a sip of her beer, "The last I hear you were acting as a liaison officer for the Marines?"

"I was," Teá said taking a couple of more sips of her beer, "the command team of the ship I was on decided to pull the Marines off ship. Which was good timing especially with me needing to deal with some personal matters." Jess just nodded sipping her beer.

"It seems the Marines are shrinking their unit sizes on ships or just removing them altogether." Jess said sipping her beer a bit more gingerly remembering what the doc said about her drinking. Which in her opinion she had under control.

"So you still with that Sean guy?" Jess asked as she finished her beer and nodded for the waitress for two more. Smiling Teá just nodded remembering when they first met and how she was courted with that ridiculous song sang by a dunk officer.

"Yeah and we're doing well. Between him and someone else they've helped me get onto a stable path." Teá said nodding to the waitress after the drinks were set in front of her. "Sorry I don't mean to ungrateful. Everything you did for me when I first started out was huge. And well this is even bigger."

Jess just blushed as she sipped on her drink before looking at Teá, "but also feel responsible for....." Jess said looking at Teá.

"Don't. I made my bed and now I have to lie in it." Finishing her first beer but not touching her second. "but my bed is slowly getting cleaned." She added with a smirk as she ran a finger tip around the top of her second beer. Just as Jess was gonna speak again her badge went off notifying that she had to get back to Memory Alpha.

"Crap I'm sorry but I gotta run." Jess said finishing her second beer and nodded to the waitress to put them on her tab, "on me. Call me and we'll get together before you leave again. I'm glad we were able to do this."

"Of course I well and I'm glad we were able to get together." Teá said standing up and embracing Jess. Jess hugged back before taking her leave. Leaving Teá alone nodding to the waitress Teá decided to call it a night and head home.
