Mission: A Spot To Kill
Location: Random Corridors

= V =

After meeting her colleague in intelligence Teá decided to continue to wander the ship feeling if anything she'll get the feel for it better that way. As she walked down the corridor her finger tips along the bulk heads. In truth she was glad she was back but something still felt off she just didn't know what but it felt like something was coming.

Lily has been walking down the corridor towards the intelligence department, planning to get the latest reports from them. She was glad to be back on the ship after Christmas, although she did enjoy her time on earth, her place was on the Vindicator.

Rounding the corner lost in thought which was bizarre for Teá she wasn't even paying attention as she rounded the corner she ran full on into someone. "Ugh.....damn't!" Teá said catching her balance before hitting the deck.

"Oof!" Lily said, taking a step back. "Sorry, I didn't see you there!" Lily said, brushing herself down.

Teá nodded rubbing her elbow as it hit the bulk head, "same here." Teá said, "lieutenant junior grade Teá Black." She said holding her hand out to shake the other officers hand.

"Lieutenant Junior Grade Lily Charlson, nice to meet you. You're intelligence, correct?" Lily asked, shaking the other officers hand.

Taking a second to think this over knowing that ship intelligence officer was different than being a field officer in that people knew you were intel.. Which for did not make a whole lot of sense but it was what it was, "yeah, security?"

"For my sins, yes, how are you finding Vindicator?" Lily asked.

Sins? Teá thought making a mental note of that, "you joined Starfleet to pay penance?" It wasn't the weirdest reason she's heard for why people have joined but for someone as young as she was what kind of sins did she have.

"It was a joke Teá, I haven't sinned!" Lily said, shaking her head with a small laugh.

Teá just nodded and returned a small smirk, "better this time around than last."

Lily nodded. "So how long have you been onboard?" Lily asked.

"Got here earlier today." Teá said, "but the time before I was here for several months but......" Teá just allowed for that to hang in the air. It was something that she wasn't willing or even ready to talk about what happened to her.

"Ah, so you're still getting used to the ship again then?" Lily asked, noticing the avoidance of the time between Teá's last visit.

"Yes and learning how to behave as well. I tend to go a bit off the books majority of the time." Teá said smirking as she remembered some of her first missions when she actually enjoyed what she was doing. Not needing to answer to anyone, taking everything to the extreme to get something accomplished. But now she wished she didn't the only upside is that she hit bottom and is now working picking herself up again.

"I have also been known to go off the books, as well as taking control of a department when I was the lowest ranking officer there....that was an interesting.....experience?" Lily said, unsure of herself a little bit.

Teá nodded knowing that she had to have been an ensign or cadet when that happened. "Well I'm sure you did your best."

"Well I tried, the acting chief, Thalla, said she thought I did well, but I need training, so hopefully some time soon!" Lily replied.

"Wasn't there a chief strategic officer that led security?" Teá asked.

"Aye, he transferred away, so now we have Thalla standing in until we can find a permanent replacement!" Lily replied.

Making a mental note of the name of Thalla as another person to learn about the list of people to learn about was getting long. "Well it was a pleasure of meeting you but I got some other things to take care of."

"The same to you, and Lieutenant...try to stay out of trouble." Lily said, heading back towards the turbolift.
