Personality & Traits

General Overview		Zev lived in a diverse city growing up, and worked in most every customer relations capacity prior to joining Starfleet. As such, he is a laid back, charismatic individual. Having spent most of his life moving from job to job, social group to group, etc... it is easy for him to empathise with most anyone.
Strengths & Weaknesses		As stated above he's great at understanding people's feelings when faced with most any situation, based on his life experience and Starfleet training. Often he uses his enhanced hearing to detect biological changes in others--most of the time knows when someone is lying, but only when to face. He is esecially sensitive to loud or high-pitched noises, and his ears are very sensitive, capable of experiencing great pleasure or indescribable ammounts of pain. He is completely incapable of piloting anything, and is terrified of being submerged in water due to a fear of drowing, and discomfort when liquid gets into his ears--to the point that taking a bath could cause a panic attack. Hates all forms of gambling as he believes he is bad luck. Dislexic with regard to numbers and mathematics.
Ambitions		His goals are to climb the Chain of Command in any, if not all of his specialties; serving 'in the field' is a means to an end, which he hopes to get through quickly. He hopes to become Head of the Diplomatic Corps, or Head of Starfleet Medical's Psychology Department, if not Starfleet itself. Upon retiring he hopes to take over his family's bar on Earth.
Hobbies & Interests		Holography - his favorite past time is playing through, and writing his own holonovels. He enjoys creating artificial personalities and assistants for himself and others. Music - Zev studies the musical styles of any and every civilization he encounters, though he's never learned to play an instrument. When going out for an evening with friends, his favorite environment is a karaoke bar.

Personal History		Zev was a war-orphan, adopted by a human couple who were unable to have children, or so they thought. Three years after being adopted by the couple who owned a bar in Portland, OR on Earth, his parents had twins. Feeling as if he'd been replaced, Zev began pursuing independence, pushing his family farther and farther away. Over his teenage years, and into his twenties he worked in many capacities, and based on the recommendations of friends and professional contacts he attended Starfleet Medical, majoring in Psychology,then the Federation Diplomatic Corps as an Envoy. His first assignment was Junior Counselor/Diplomatic Attache aboard the USS Ajax.
