The first team beamed over to the derelict of the USS Breda a Steamrunner class. Brad was leading the initial team over they weren't wearing full EVA suits as everything was still pressurized but environmental status was iffy at best.

Brad looked used his hand signals to get a permitter set up before anyone else came over. Looking at the tactical tricorder that was attached to his forearm, "damn, looks like life support is on it's last leg. Keep your masks on until we can repair it there's not much air left."

"Colbert to Caldwell.....we need a couple of engineers over here to repair life support I suggest keeping the rest of the team on the Vindicator until life support is more stable."

Caldwell was in the Vindicator transporter room and he replied, tapping his combadge: "Understood, Gunny. I can beam over the personnel. Is your squad enough to secure the area?"

"BZ (beam zone) is secured." Brad said nodding for a couple of the security team to spread out slightly securing just a bit more of the ship.

With the call down to engineering for a team to be put together, Almar called out to one of his damage control specialists, Chief Petty Officer Ramone had spent years in this path and looked up with a smile, "Chief Ramone, proceed to the transporter room, full EV gear and take a team with you, they need some engineers."

"Yes sir!" Ramone replied as he launched himself to his feet, his team were nearby and followed suit, grabbing their tool boxes and heading to the supply room for their EV suits.

"You, you and you stay with the engineering team the rest of us well search the ship for any survivors. Once the engineering team is finished get them back here and beam them back. Once that's done get Caldwell and the rest of the team over here to start searching. Any and all survivors come back here are searched and scanned before beaming over to the Vindicator. Clear?"

Several minutes later and four heavily equipped engineers stepped into the transporter room, full EV suits and large tool cases weighed them down as they stepped up onto the pad and gave the nod to the Chief.

"Gunnery Sergeant Colbert, Engineering Team Delta are incoming," the Chief called as he engaged the de-materialisation process.

"Copy that...we're ready to receive." Brad said sending a independent message to Ellis to have a fire team standing by. He was a little iffy about this new security chief.

Less than a couple of seconds later, the four engineers appeared before the Marine and placed their tool cases down on the deck, "Chief Petty Officer Ramone reporting sir!" the non-com barked through the EV's comm.

"Welcome Chief.....alright your job is simple get life support and environmental controls working. Those three security officers are your security detail none of you venture off without them understood. Once you're done getting life support and environmental controls active again you get back here and back to the Vindicator, clear?" Brad said looking the chief in the eye.

"Understood Gunny," Ramone replied with a slight smile through the visor of his EV suit as he pulled up the padd attached to the arm and scanned for the ship's schematics, "Environmental Control is one deck down, Grav Control one deck up, we'll also need to access the damage control grid, there's no sense in trying to bring the others online if we have unsecured hull breaches."

"I suggest we split the team, two people at Environmental, one at Grav and one monitoring the DC grid," Ramone replied as he scrolled through the schematics, "The nearest DC grid access is on the same deck as the Grav Control, so two people one deck up, two people one deck down."

"Alright.......you two take the DC team to the environmental control, you two take the DC team to the grav control and than you two take the DC team to the damage control grid." Brad said.

The team began to split up and head towards the jefferies tubes, their heavy tool cases feeling much lighter with the grav plating offline, Ramone and his partner stepped onto the ladders first, heading down towards the environmental controls, the second two headed up towards the grav plating and damage control grid.

"Brad to Overwatch I need a Marine fire team to beam over. Security is on babysitting detail I need Marines for the SAR portion." Brad said into his comm.

"Copy that a fire team from 3rd platoon well beam over." And with that Tripae sent a message to second lieutenant Garza to send over a fire team. It wasn't long before they beamed over to the derelict ship.

With all the teams in position the SAR op was a full go and it would take several hours of searching the entire vessel before being sure that they found everyone that could be saved.
