Mission: All Hallows’

Teá decided to spend some time on Earth seeing if it would do her any good or to just help he reset herself after everything that's happened. She got a small apartment right near the wharf in San Francisco spending most of her time down there people watching and enjoying the cool weather. Wearing her biker gear; black jeans, boots and black leather jacket. Shivering she decided it was just too chilly to people watch today so she headed home once in the building she used her PaDD to activate her room console to open a link to the Bismarck and Sean.

Sean was about to sit down to his dinner after his duty shift when his com lit up. When he saw Teá's name on the screen, he collected his pint of Guinness and dinner of mashed potatoes, pork loin, and steamed string beans, then accepted the call as he sat down. When the screen was empty other than the walls of an apartment, he frowned.

"Teá?"

The link connected just as she walked into the apartment, "Sean I'm here didn't think it would connect that fast." Teá called out as she removed her gloves, boots and jacket and heading to the console so Sean could see her.

"No worries, gorgeous," he assured her, and took a sip of his pint. "What's the story?"

"Not a lot." Teá said with a smirk, "was down at the wharf people watching but the winds picked up and came way too chilly for that. you?"

"Just dinner for I, here," he returned, a fork full of potatoes held up for her to see. "I miss the wharf sometimes, so many people. Spot anyone interesting?"

"No not really. Than again my interesting and your interesting are two very very different things." Teá said with a smirk, "but I also got some good news." She said with a smile

"Good news?" He grinned at her, waiting to hear it.

"Do you remember me telling you about a friend in one of the Fleet departments?" Teá asked.

"I think so, but I've forgotten her name," Sean confessed, running his fingers through his dreadlocks, rubbing at the back of his head in thought.

"Well she finally made it safely back to Earth and gonna have dinner with her. She was the one that got me out of a couple of jams before I arrived at stares 375." Teá said with a bigger smile than what Sean has ever seen.

"I'm glad t' hear it, how long has it been since you've seen her?" Sean cut a bit off his pork loin, and smiling at Teá as he ate.

"It's almost been a year since I've seen her." Teá said feeling a bit guilty for not trying to harder to stay in touch with Jess but between her work and what Jess's it was tough.

"A years not so bad, for two people in the fleet," Sean insisted, shaking his fork at Teá as he spoke.

"Yeah I know," Teá said sighing, "but you know me better than anyone I don't let people get close too me and well she is one that I allowed and I just......." She let it hanging not really wanting to finish the statement.

"You have t' stop beatin' yourself up for things you can't control. We just came out of a civil war, an' the two of you both had your assignments. Only going a year between seeing each other is impressive," he insisted, setting his fork down on the edge of his plate, and reaching towards the comscreen as if he could touch Teá.

Sighing again funny thing was this was one of the big things she was working on in therapy along with everything else. "Wish you could've been here during the holidays." Teá said touching the screen just like Sean was.

"Me too, but our patrol just didn't work out," he answered with a sigh. "We'll find some time for leave soon, I promise."

"I know I know," Teá said softly standing up to go get a glass of Bajoran Spring Wine, "so anything interesting on the patrol?"

"Not a thing," Sean frowned. "And I've been bored out of me mind, the holodecks are on the fritz, so they've got them closed until they can figure out what's gone wrong. I can't even distract meself with rugby!"

"I'm sorry hun. How much longer you've on this patrol?" Teá asked knowing sooner or later she would need to speak with Pond about her future.

"I don't know. A lot of things seem t' be up in the air as things settle from the civil war," Sean admitted. "Any idea what they're going to have you doing?"

"Don't know I need to speak with Pond to see what my options are." Teá said realizing that she really didn't know anyone in Starfleet Intelligence not since she was assigned to 375 as a security officer but still reporting into Starfleet Intelligence.

"What's Pond up to? She told me she'd be on Earth for Christmas, offered to look in on me fam, but every time I've tried to call her hotel room, she's out," Sean finally picked up his fork again, twisting it in his mashed potatoes.

"Don't know," Teá said taking a sip of wine, "in all honesty between my sessions and trying to lay low I haven't really been paying attention to where the crew of the Vindi has been."

"I'm sure she'll be happy to hear from you, especially with the progress you've been making." Sean grinned wide.

"I know I just needed sometime to lay low." Teá said looking at Sean showing that she really needed this time for herself while the counselor tried and help her find herself again or find some semblance of herself. "I'll call her after I have a visit with my friend."

Sean nodded, his dreadlocks bouncing around his face. "Where are you and..." Sean tried again to recall Teá's friend's name, and frowned softly when the name failed again to come to him. "Where are you an' your friend going t' dinner?"

"A dive called NeedWant it's right off the Starfleet campus she needs to remain close to her office." Teá said with a small smile, "it'll be a fun night for us."

"Is it new? I don't remember it when I was at the Acad, but it's been a while now, hasn't it?" He thought back as he sipped his beer.

"I think it's fairly new remember I've been off Earth longer than you have." Teá said with a laugh.

"Good, I'm not forgettin' things in me old age," he returned with a chuckle. "Tell me how it is?"

"Will do maybe we can visit it when we get some time off and we're both on Earth or close enough to Earth." Teá said with a smile looking at the time, "shit I need to get ready. I'll talk to you tomorrow or maybe the next day."

"Drink a pint for me." He blew a kiss to her.

"Will do my love." Teá said as she closed the link and headed off to get ready for a night out.
