Mission: Resurgere
Location: Star Fleet HQ, Med Fac, ICU-Coma recovery

Commander Fuller had been taken out of the monitoring bio bed and moved to a normal bed in the recovery ward of the ICU wing in the Med Fac. He was now being poked and prodded almost at even intervals and felt like a lab rat, again.

Chatham was looking out the window to the grounds. They were pristinely kept. Maybe not as good as Boothby would have but very pretty just the same. He wondered if Star Fleet was the right option for him. If this damn Chrono-phase disorder would get worse with age, stay the same, or even be cured. As he wondered about all this, and his mind was racing, a doctor and nurse came in to see him.

Good morning, said the doctor as he looked at the P.A.D.D. to confirm Fuller's full name and status in Star Fleet, Commander Chatham Fuller is it? Please confirm your full name, and personal I.D. number.

Fuller did so, and asked to look at the chart on himself. The doctor handed him the chart. It seemed like they were in the dark as to his condition and were just taking initial blood samples and attempting to figure out the weird chronometric, and phase variances of him. Chatham entered a series of codes on the P.A.D.D. and the info was sent to the Department of Temporal Affairs, and as an engineer knew the root commands to burn out the memory on the P.A.D.D., then handed it back to the doctor. Who was very pissed and told Fuller he had not right to do that and that all medical info was property of Star Fleet. Chatham, smiled looked right at the doctor and said, "Oh, Star Fleet has the info they need. I sent it to them. As a matter of fact I expect an appropriate representative in about, oh say, 5 . . , 4 . . , 3 . . , 2 . . , 1 . . , Now." Just as he said, now four people transported to his bedside. "Commander Fuller, you will come with us. We will get you treatment. You, and you, pointing to the doctor and nurse, well be debriefed immediately." With that Chase and his escorts transported to the classified side of the Med Fac. Fuller's condition was stabilized further and he was sent on his way.

Chatham didn't have much in the way of belongings, so he just hung up his uniforms and stored the few things he'd acquired, like his peace pipe, and his citations. The chime went off on the comm device then the computer stated, "Official Message for Commander Chatham Wayne Fuller, subject Duty assignment orders". Fuller gave his code to unlock it. The orders were from Star Fleet Command and were as follows:

Star Fleet Command Bureau of Personnel

Official Permanent Change of Station Orders to

Chatham Wayne Fuller, Commander Star Fleet Corps of Engineers

CC: Captain Ex-Vindicator

You are hereby ordered to separate from the former U.S.S. Vindicator (NCC-72314-E)

Report to: Star Fleet Ship Yards

Duties (Primary): Star Fleet Laison to PCS Vindicator

Effective date: upon receipt

End message

Chase sat down, dumbfounded. He'd been side lined, benched, taken out of service, it seemed. What, the hell, happened? Fuller started his research.

"Computer", Fuller commanded, "bring up my last log aboard the Vindi-E, and all information in reference to USS Vindicator-E." The computer chimed and began bringing up the files and records. The last thing Chatham saw was the explosion of the ship. The Commander, was stunned.
