Mission Summary
While on R'n'R on Qo'noS, the Vindicator receives an automated Federation civilian distress call originating on a planet in Klingon space designated K3. With a representative of the High Counsel in tow, they go to investigate. They find The Pelican, the personal ship of the XO's little brother Noah Waterhouse, his crew, and one Dr. Logan Grant.
At first, Noah and his crew seem reluctant to leave the planet behind. He and his crew had come to care about the odd little inhabitants of the planet, and were concerned about their well being if the Klingons decided they wanted to develop the planet. In the end, the Klingons agree to allow the Federation access to observe the inhabitants of the planet and leave it otherwise undisturbed.
