Te'shara and john meet again

Te'shara was in the officers lounge hanging out, drinking cold water, since she did not feel like drinking anything else, she hadn't seen John Jackson in a long time, she was thinking bout him, as she was relaxed in the officers lounge looking out the window out in space, thinking bout John, with a smile on her face. She continued looking out in space, being a space cadet bout John.

John and Cabel entered the Officers lounge together laughing about the simulation they had run. "I'll be expecting a transfer of credits at some point John." Cabel grinned after all he'd one those 200 credits fair and square in the race that John had boosted that he could win hands down.

"Yeah yeah just keep it down you know it'll be a mark against us if we're caught gambling." He smirked though loved the danger of racing and well it was a friendly bet between siblings.

Te'shara heard voices, and looked around and meowed,"John!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"she purred as she ran up to him and planted a kiss on his lips."how are you babe,"she purred more wagging her tail for him and giving him a big hugg too.

John hadn't been prepared for such a big show of affection or a for Te'shara to come running at him from out of no where. It had almost knocked him down with the strength of it. if not for Cabel grabbing hold of his brother they would have end up on the floor... "Te'shara." Was all that John could actually get out...

Te'shara looked at Cabel, then at john,"Hey honey how are you." she purred and licked his face, she was so happy to see him, but did not mean to knock him over, "sorry bout almost knocking you over, john" she said and helped Cabel pick up his brother, john holding him tight.

John looked to his brother then to Te'Shara, "Hey Te'Shara how are you?" John asked while Cabel covered his mouth to keep from laughing at the way Te'shara had greet John. "Um yeah no it's OK. I've just been rather busy I have another shift tonight with Scott being sick." John told her though not that he'd volunteered for it.

Te'shara looked at John, "oh you poor baby, that's why i haven't seen you in a while, I've missed you so much." she said as she licked his face again."hi Cabel how are you" she asked him.

John wasn't sure how to let Te'Shara down gently. So he wasn't going to bother but keep working double shifts instead for now.

"I'm good Te'Shara, been trying to make sure John here doesn't work too much I'm sure you understand how it is in security sometimes." Cabel said with a warm smile thinking his brother was on his own for this one.

John glared at Cabel. "Um Te'Shara did you want to join us for a drink?" John asked Te'Shara sitting her in a seat so that she would stop licking his face.

Te'shara looked at John,"sure I'll join you for a drink, i haven't seen you in a long time John, but i know how it feels, I've done double shift with security, So I'm in the same boat as you John."she said as she wondered why John glared at Cabel.

John smiled down at Te'Shara before motioning for the bartender to get her, her drink and moved to sit down between her and Cabel so that Cabel couldn't be the ass he normally isn't. "Being a jack doesn't sit well on you Cabel." John growled.

"Ah, but there's where you're wrong. When it comes to being a Jack around my other half it sits just well." Cabel grinned thinking John better step it up soon...

Te'shara smiled at john and licked his face again being happy to see him, as she turned to the bartender, and ordered her drink. Then she looked at Cabel , and wondered what he was talking about, and just shook her head, and turned her head towards john."So you been on double shift, babe?" she said to John, taking her claw and rubbing his back, gently, while she was waiting for her drink.

John smiled and wiped his face, "Look Te'shara, Um watch the claws." John said more nervous about what he was going to do with her claws out and at his back where they could do damage. "I've missed you I have, but I think we need a break." John said he liked Te'Shara he really did but well he wasn't sure he was ready for how involved she seems to be in their relationship...

Te'shara looked at john, "why take a break, is it something that i have done to make you unhappy?" she said to him with tears coming down her furry face, "i really like you john as much as i love you too, please tell me why you want to take a break." she said sadly, she watched her paw, carefully on john's back so she wouldn't claw him, she took her paw off, and stared at her drink sadly.

Oh damn... John always was a sucker for tears and a pretty lady. Dammit that's why he wanted the break things were moving too fast too soon but how did he tell her that without making her cry. John kissed her soothingly. "It's nothing you did Te'shara. It's just moving a little fast I care for you as well and I'm not use to these feelings. I just need time to think and work these feelings out. you've done nothing wrong at all." John said honestly.

Te`Shara sighed,"Was i moving, too fast, for you, we can slow down a bit, "she sadly said to John, as she drowned herself in her drink, of rum and coke, and ordered another one. Te'shara kissed john on the cheek,."Just remember this john, I was always faithful to you, nobody else id see but you." she sighed more as more tears ran down her furry face, as she swayed her long brown hair back from her face. "I really like you a lot john, but if you want to take a break i'll give you that, but i'll tell you this i will never cheat on you, even though there's another caitian aboard this ship, i'll always pick you over him." she also said, to john.

John frowned. "You make it sound as if I go around cheating on you every second I get. things are just moving a little fast. please don't cry I'm not asking to end it just that we slow things down. I care about you. but I don't want to rush into anything." He looked away from her crying or else he'd probably take it all back just to make her smile again...

Te'shara looked at him, "i'm not saying that. i thought you are ending things which you are not, of course i'll slow things down, I'll do anything to make things right between us."she slightly smiled at him. Te'shara was drinking her rum and coke, while trying not to cry.

"That right there is what I mean. you shouldn't have to be sorry or say something like 'I'll do anything to make things right between us.' there's nothing wrong except that you seem to over do it just a little bit..." John said unsure what to do really...

Te'shara grinned,"I'll do whatever you want, if you want to slow things down that's fine and dandy with me, my sweet kitty of mine." she smiled at him. "I care for you too, and like you a lot too," she also said to him.

"Your not getting it Te'Shara. I don't want you to do whatever I want. that's why I need the break. Look I'm late for my shift I have to go." John kissed her cheek before getting up and leaving Cabel right behind him.

Te'shara smiled,and yelled,"I'll Slow Down for you john, and i love you." she yelled at him. Te'shara finished her drink and headed off to her quarters, for bed, before her next shift of Security, the next Day.

John looked back and shook his head. she wasn't listening. They haven't be involved long enough for her to rush into 'I love yous.' that was definitely not slowing down... He continued towards his shift...
