Mission: Secret Meetings

After being transferred back to the sick bay with new mum and baby, Doctor Cannon looked over to the small baby, now in an incubator and his mother on a biobed next to it. Cannon smiled, "You thought of names?" She picked up the newborn carefully and gently and layed him on a weighing scales.

"I have, but to be honest I haven't picked one yet. I had three boy names picked out: Hayden Jr after his father, Michael, or Tony. I haven't decided and well Hayden's been busy in sickbay I haven't asked his opinion yet." She said softly she was a little early after all.

"Can you not see him from here then? I'm sure he'll have a second to spare now that the ship has stopped shaking for a bit," she smiled, "6lb2... healthy weight, same as me when I was born."

"I can try," Jenny said smiling happily. reaches for her com-badge and taps it. "Lt Waters to Lt. Cmdr Williams. what name do you want for you're son love?" She asked with a smile.

With a chuckle, Mackenzie lifted the baby back up and put him back in incubation, "I could always get him for you. I'm still new with names around here, but I'm sure he wouldn't be hard to find. Either that or send him a picture through?"

"Well he made it to engineering to see his child in the end, he might ave returned to the bridge or gone to Security next." She smiled knowing he'd get to her soon as he could.

"He should technically be on paternity leave the second this baby came out," she frowned, "But ok. what's your plan, medically, for this child?"

"He's chief Security officer he probably just has a few things to wrap up or doesn't know that he get's medical leave as well." She said and thought about the question. "Mainly to keep him safe and healthy Hayden at some point I believe talked about us raising our child on earth but with Earth behind a cardassian blockade I'm not sure if there's a new plan or not yet." She said honestly.

"It's more, which immunization jabs you want your son to have," Cannon hopped up on a near by biobed, over looking the woman's son, "I can give him the basics, which would be given on Earth, or I can give him shots for illnesses he's only, really, come into contact with on ships like this. With your other half being in security, he probably goes on away missions, so it would be advisable."

"Shots for the ship, I do not wish to give him all the basic shots unless I still plan to go to earth which doesn't seem likely right now and if Hayden picks a station it's more than likely this little guy will be at risk from the same kind of germs as a starship." Jenny said softly.

"You have a week or two to make us your minds anyway. I'd recommend immunization against everything, I would," she smiled.

"Against everything is fine by me. I don't want my little guy to have any worry's other than to grow up and be happy." She smiled back.

"Clear it with... Hayden... first. I need both parents to sign off on it," Doctor Cannon picked up a PADD and started typing something.

"Alright." Jenny said just as her com-badge chirped.

"Lets go with Michael. sounds like a good name" Came Hayden's voice over the Comm.

"Michael? Sounds nice," Mac smiled, "Well, I'll have to get back to working around here. I have to promote 'breast is best' but I'm not sure I agree with that statement. Nappies are..." she leaned over a cupboard and got a small box out and put it on an empty biobed, "there. If you need me you know where I am. I'll sort the birth certificate out properly when your other half gets here. Any questions?"

"Nappies?" Jenny asked frowning not sure what Nappies were other than baby naps?

Mackenzie raised an eyebrow, "It's like underwear for babies, but its absorbent and..." she smiled with a slight chuckle, "You see what your son is wearing on his bottom half now? That."

"You said Nappies I thought Naps. not Dippers." Jenny smirked and started to giggle slightly. "I understand now what a nappy is." She shook her head she must be tired...

"Sorry, it's the british term for them," Mackenzie chuckled, "Anyway, get some sleep, but your son will probably wake you in an hour for feeding. Let me know if you need me. I'm only over there, on a night shift.

"thank you Doctor Cannon." Jenny said snuggling down into the bed to get some rest...
