Mission:
In the Dark
Location: Personal Quarters
Timeline: After Award's Reception
Saia was elated she got an award, but the socializing had worn her out. Even before, she was a wallflower. It was what Kevin liked about her. Saul and Nara had left early, for obvious reasons after the comment Saul made about how Nara looked in her formal uniform. Kevin watched Saia as she plopped onto the couch and smiled. Maybe, just maybe she was normal. Maybe just for tonight. He sat beside her and leaned to kiss her. Not feeling her move away and even join in the mouth action, he continued.
Saia let herself be empty of her haunt for the night. She wasn't sure what it was, but the air of celebration and the lack of tragedy and trauma from any battles or just being in the line of duty caused her to actually relax. To let her give herself to Kevin.
It had been thanks to time as well. So much time had passed. Enough time to where she did not mistake the touch for her tormentors. She was aware and trusted the touch was Kevin. She trusted enough to let him undress her and soon there was no where their skin did not touch each other. Even when she saw and touched more intimate parts of him, it was too different to not believe it was him. She even lost herself in watching him enjoy what she did to him. She found it strangely easy. After all this time, she wondered if she would know what to do when not made to through threat. His reactions to her actions snowballed until he gently backed away, "There's more to do, Saia." He kissed her and reached down.
That's when it felt too similar. But she winced and just gripped him, forcing herself to remember it was Kevin. She buried her face in his neck and whispered hoarsely and with terror, "Do it..."
He heard the impatience to get something over with and looked at her and backed away, "Not until you know it's not him." He reached for his clothes and she frowned, realizing how good it was until then.
She put a hand on his shoulder, "Then... get on your back."
Kevin smiled and did as she told him. Things returned to what was a few moments before and other than Saia getting hysterical, went just as he'd hoped. After they had caught their breath and Saia had stopped crying enough to talk he backed a bit from holding her and kissed her forehead, "Soon, you'll want it mentally as bad as your body begs for it."
"He knew that conflict and now I'm sure I can never not have it." Saia snuggled into him.
He shook his head and hugged her tight, "Promise me you'll keep that meeting with the counselor."
Saia growled, but muttered, "Fine."
