Mission: Are You Touched?
Saia opened the door with a towel wrapped around her. "The bed is different. He mostly used the bed as a reward when I was a... good girl... as he would say. When I was too defeated to fight so it was easy for him. But when I resisted and fought back, he did it wherever he managed to pin me down. There were times I was in the shower. I liked water showers. If he came when I was in there, and he came in, and I fought, he would tilt my head up and open my mouth, and let it into my nose." She had looked down then, "Did you know that water washes away mucus linings? I would get sinus infections every time. Not to mention a sore throat from choking."
He blinked. This was the most she had ever said anything about those months she was tormented. Perhaps the months that passed since her tormentor was not allowed on the ship anymore had helped. Or was it that he had a chance to be back on the ship with civilians being allowed on again. He wasn't sure. He reached out, "I'm sorry."
She shook her head and backed away, regretting saying that much. She suddenly felt ashamed, embarrassed, and pathetic. "I just want to see if I can handle them on my own for now."
He had nodded and backed away, "I'll be out here."
She gave him a smile and stepped inside, closing the door. He didn't hear the sound to indicate it was locked. He gave a small smile for small victories and went to get some coffee from the replicator as he listened to the water and the changes in it's sound as she moved around. He would pause when the sound didn't change meaning she had stopped moving. He waited nervously, wondering if she was having flashbacks.
He finally sighed in relief when she finally came out. He ordered a coffee and handed it to her as she sat down. She took it, set it on the coffee table and took his hand to pull him to the couch and cuddled to him. He held her until suddenly, and abruptly, she jumped into a sitting position and sipped at her coffee and started making notes on a PADD.
He wasn't surprised. He also went with it and smiled, back to the happy couple they were an hour before, rather than a man dealing with a traumatized girlfriend, "No work on shoreleave."
"No no. I'm looking for museums."
He sighed, but when she looked over, he gave a smile. He knew he would be bored, but she was interested in her passions again. At least from what Nara told her, Saia was passionate about art. He hadn't really seen it much.
"As long as I get to see you in a bikini."
She blinked, "Only if no one else can see."
He smiled but he was a little sad inside. Call it a manly instinct to show off what girl he seemed to have gotten, but he also understood her fear of illiciting some stalking or worse. So he nodded. "No one sees my girl but me."
She rolled her eyes. He was so human.
