Mission: Are You Touched?
Location: Civilian Gym Facilities

Vlimar quietly entered the facilities, carrying his usual toward and his Violent Gentlemen vintage tshirt and a pair of soccer shorts, passing by the staff incognito. He changed and immediately went to the treadmills, running at a high pace for 30 minutes. Following this, he slowly approached the weight room and noticed only one other person using it, a woman he never meet.

He slowly approached a bench, set his water bottle on the ground and observe the dumbbells, misplaced for most of them. He sighed loudly, then went on the hunt to find matching pairs.

Black hair was pulled back in a pony tail, one that cascaded down along her back, blending into the halter top and gym shorts she had on. A light shine upon the slender form of her body from the work out she was doing as she used a set of the barbells herself. Not a big set, she choice the smaller ones and simply did more repetitions. After all, it was simply to keep her toned, not muscled.

"There is a match to the ten pound one over there by the wall." Jayde offered up before going back to focusing on her breathing and steady movements.

Vlimar looked at Jayde, unsure if she was sarcastic or playful. He slowly grabbed the 40 pounds dumbbells, which the pair were close-by and set them on the ground in front of him. "Do I look that old?", he asked, playfully, deciding to accept the later of the two scenarios.

"No, I simply wanted to get a look at your backside and figured that was the best way to do it." Jayde said with a straight face, though the sparkle in her eyes gave way that she was very much playing with him. She was after all, getting a nice view of the eye candy before her.

Vlimar smirked and nodded. "Well, that was quite an interesting way to accomplish that, indeed.", he stated, grabbing his weight, sitting on the bench, taking a sip of his water. "And, you are?", he asked, smiling.

"I'm Jayde Ramsey, newly shipped here from the Starbase Zetari. And you?" She said as she sat the weights down she was working with, and started doing a few slow stretches. Of course her gaze never left the man as they talked. He was after all, making working out a bit more interesting.

Vlimar smiled as he slowly grabbed the weights, laying down on the bench to work on his pectorals. "Vlimar PontBrillant", he introduced himself. "Zetari... What were you doing there?", he asked, looking at her, as the weight rested on his chest, getting ready to begin his reps.

Stretching out the muscles in her arms that she'd been working, she smiled as she pondered that question. "What wasn't I doing there is more likely a better question. The perks of being a civilian, I get to do who ever I like." Wait... that didn't come out right. "I mean whatever I like." Damn Jayde, she thought as she grabbed a towel and her bottle of water for a drink now.

Vlimar laughed briefly, then nodded at Jayde. "I see... Freudian slips already, isn't it?", he responded as he began his set, slowly. 12 repetitions in explosive style, then lowered the weight back to his chest.

"Tends to happen at times, always at the worst possible time." She said with a slight smirk as she sat down on the bench she was by. "So what is it you do on this ship?" She asked as she watched him, the flex of muscles, the ripple of flesh, the... Ohh... focus Jayde!

Vlimar did his second set as she answered. Supersets, a quick, efficient workout for someone reaching for explosive strength, such as a martial artist. After his second set, the weight resting on his chest, his head went up as he looked at the woman near him. "I'm taking care of a few things, you know. Here and there.", he answered, smiling, keeping his answer as vague as one possibly could.

Well that brought a slight cant of her head, seemed neither one of them wanted to admit what they really did. That was fine with her, just gave her something to learn in her spare time. "You come here often?" She asked as she stood up to moved around pick up a few of the weights, matching them up. Who would have thought she'd pick up after herself, or after anyone., then again... this was a fresh start.

Vlimar nodded as he did his last set. "I try to come every other day...", he stated. "Except when I'm busy, obviously.", he continued, lowering the weight loudly on the floor as he finished his set. He took a deep breathe and sat back up, looking at Jayde. "Even civilians have tasks on a Starship... What's yours?", he asked, smiling, lightly panting.

"Ohh... you want to know what I do, but won't sure what you do?" She asked as she looked at him, clearly playing with him as green eyes seemed to sparkle with life and mischief. Moving back over to sit down on the bench once more, one toned leg stretching out, she gave a little lean over it as she absentmindedly doing more stretches.

Vlimar shook his head slowly, smiling. "I'm an officer here.", he stated, smiling. He then stood and replaced the weights at their proper place, then turned to face the woman. "Now, what do you do?", he asked again, walking towards the kettle bells.

"You have the body of a Security officer, not Intel... you're not intense enough for that." Jayde rambled off a moment as she watched him, studied his body language. "Oh... me, I'm a bartender" She said simply with a slight grin.

Vlimar smiled widely. "Definitely not intel.", he replied, finding this rather amusing. "Security is right, I work there.", he stated, looking at the kettle bells, picking up a 60 lbs one, moving it to his workout area. "Which lounge will you be working at?", he asked, remembering that she said she just arrived.

"After Dark" She replied, though a hand had lifted to tap lightly against her lips in thought. "Tactical is to obvious... but you do more than just security..." She gave a little shrug, and though she hadn't given up on trying to figure the man out. She knew better then to let the man know she was smarter than she looked. "You go there often?"

"Once in a while...", he stated, smiling. "A nice location, for sure.", he added, as he bent down to grab the kettlebell and began to do swing pulls slowly, working his entire shoulders, pectorals, biceps and triceps. "I'm doing security...", he continued, smiling.

"Oh I believe you, I just feel there is something more... and I'm usually not wrong." She nipped lightly on her lower lip as she watched him, damn she was going to have to come to the gym more often, the view was just... yummy. Pouring a little water on her towel, she draped it around her neck with the need to cool down some. "Been on this ship long?" She decided to ask.

Vlimar finished his set, letting the weight down heavily, panting. "A few months, actually. Settled now, it's one of the nicer ship I've been aboard.", he stated, offering a smile. "And, for what's more, I do a lot of things around here, really.", he added, grabbing his water bottle to take a swift drink.

"I suppose I still have a lot of exploring to do then, cause right now it looks like just a basic ship, only a little bigger." She said with a slight shrug, but then again I haven't been on this ship long enough to really see if the specifications I looked up were right about it.

Vlimar nodded. "Did my fair share of travelling and exploring, sure.", he stated, shrugging. He slowly bent down to do another set. "How old are you?", he asked, curiously.

"Don't you know you are never supposed to ask a woman how old they are?" She said with a soft chuckle as she looked at him. Those greens never leaving him as she grinned. "After all, age is just a number is it not?"

Vlimar grinned. "It is, as well as the brig is just another room.", he answered cheeky. "But, you are right, please forgive my indiscretion.", he added, as he grabbed the kettle bell again, beginning another set, this time aggressively.

"Brig just isn't as comfortable, and not as private... or so I've heard." Gah, she really needed to get out of the gym, or did she? Nothing wrong with hanging out, it's not like she had anything pressing to do right now. As long as she remembered to watch what she was saying and not to much what she was viewing.

Vlimar laughed loudly. "Brigs do not tend to be, no.", he responded, enjoying this conversation. He finished his set and move the kettle bell back to its original localization. He then turned and looked at Jayde directly. "So, if I want to see you, I go to After Dark, then?", he asked, smiling.

"Yes, more often then not I'm likely to be there. The place seems to need a bit of my flair." Of course Norbert probably wouldn't be overly thrilled to have heard that, but then, she wasn't really worried about the man. She'd have him wrapped around her little finger soon enough. "And if I want to see you.... I go to the Brig?"

Vlimar smiled. "Do something bad... very bad... and yes, you shall see me. Otherwise, I'll come and find you on the AfterDark... after dark.", he said, smiling, finding his joke amazingly original...

She couldn't help but to smirk with a little chuckle with that joke. "I'll be looking for you there then, I'm not ready to do anything that bad... yet." Adding that last word with a playful smile after all, she was joking.. right?

Vlimar nodded. "Yet...", he stated. "Hopefully, the next I see you will not be to arrest you...", he stated, playfully. He walked to her and extended his hand. "It was nice to meet you, Jayde."

Reaching out, fingers curled to his as she took his hand. "It was good to meet you too, Vlimar" Really hoping she pronounced his name right. "And no, it won't be next time. It's to soon for me to get into trouble.. yet." Jayde said with a little wink to him.

Vlimar smiled. He gave her a wink as he turned and walked towards the dressing room for shower and return to duty.
