Mission: All Hallows’

A tangle of pastafarians made their way into the After Dark lounge, with their tall blond leader at their head. He'd managed to get a replacement colander replicated, so it was perched upon his head half covering his soft Klingon ridge and some of his faded trill spots. At his left elbow, a blond young human woman with dreadlocks, who's top of her head came to just above his shoulder. Behind them, a tangle of people in a mix of pirate garb and current Terran fashion. They took over a large table near the viewport, talking excitedly at the prospect of good food and rum. Rum was the major source of excitement, particularly since it was Friday.

The shorter blonde next to him, twitchy and intrigued, was playing with a glass that had been left out on a table. Grabbing it she quickly perched herself on a seat next to Noah, legs pulled up to her chest with one arm across them to keep them snug against her lithe frame. She giggled to herself as the glass wiggled and toppled over when she spun it, ignoring the loud and obtrusive noise it made against the table.

"I like your hat, Noah." She whispered, as if speaking to the glass.

"Thank you," he returned, watching her fidget with the glass. He hadn't been able to find the replicator pattern his original had come from, but this new one had started to grow on him. A little more ornate, but the shape also sat on his head a little better. "I'd been disappointed when I couldn't find the pattern for the one I lost, but this one is better than the old one, isn't it?" He looked around to see if anyone had noticed the group.

Up until the arrival of the pirated pastafarians it had been a rather slow, but steady night for the shortstaffed lounge. Its manager having lost both his bartenders in the matter of a few days was busy playing Host as well as tending to the bar while relaxing classical music was drifting throughout the room.

Norbert had just poured a customers drink when he turned and found himself staring in horror as the Pastafarians invaded a group of tables and set up camp.

"Oh No I don't think so", he said to himself, immediately rounding the bar and approaching the group.

"Ahem....Excuse me", he said as he approached having to repeat himself more than once to be noticed. "I'm sorry but we have a dress code here at the After Dark Lounge", he paused for a moment noticing one of the saltier members of the group was wearing an eye patch, "Uniforms and Formal attire only, pots on heads are definitely not allowed, so I am going to have to ask your group to leave, I'm sure you will find one of the other lounges on this starship to be more" he paused for a moment, "accommodating to your kind".

"I wonder what my sister would say about that," Noah mused aloud, not looking up to make eye contact with the man who spoke. He'd come to find out that his sister had been leading the away mission that had found the group of crashed pastafarians because she was XO of this ship. "I mean, just call it a hunch, but turning away the XO's little brother might cause problems."

Norbert smiled and glanced around. He remembered his meeting with the XO when he first arrived to the ship. Trying not to cause a scene he lowered his voice, "I really don't think you will enjoy yourselves here, I'm sure you will have a much better time somewhere else". He grimaced in disgust at the site of one of the Pastafarians dreadlocks. "Now if you all would kindly stand up I can have someone show you to a more suitable location".

"Do you think we can't pay?" Noah challenged, leaning onto the table to look past Gnocchi at the man who seemed determined to keep him away from the best food on the ship. "That's not a problem, I assure you. Just bring us each a plate your best pasta based dish, and keep us in rum, and you'll be paid. Do it without further protest, and maybe I'll tip you well too."

"Ok." Gnocchi stood up and crossed the small distance between herself and the lounge manager, her lips pursed and her eyes daring. Between her teeth she took in a breath of air, eyeing the man up and down, then crossing to walk behind him. There she scanned him hungrily, and quite forwardly took the opportunity to touch him in a number of places. "She likes. Can we keep him, Noodle?" She followed up with a little growl, nipping as his shoulder playfully.

Norbert took a half step back away from Gnocchi, his neck stretching his head to the rear. He looked around at the other customers and noticed some were now staring at him. He relented. "Ok...OK", he said avoiding eye contact with the decidedly dangerous looking Gnocchi", he straightened his coat, "Fine, Just try not to disturb the other guests", he took a breath, "I will have a server by shortly to assist you". He quickly backpedaled and returned to the bar where he immediately pulled his PADD and placed a call to Commander Waterhouse.

Gnocchi pouted and blew another raspberry as he left, "Oh... was it something I said?" She turned and watched Norbert go, eyeing his well-pressed backside. With a little growl and a quick bark in his direction, she tossed up her locked hair and sighed with renewed ecstasy. She felt suddenly stricken with tingling urges and sensations. The moan was loud, obvious and quite notably sensual. Her body roiled in pleasure as she fell back and leaned in on the table, he legs crossed and her toes pointed. "Mr. Master of the bar! Keeper of the holy drink! ... I need tending to."

"Sit down, you little minx," Noah chastised the blond hellion, laying a hand on her wrist. "You remember that discussion we had about consent, right?" he asked this softly, so as to avoid letting anyone outside their group hear.

Norbert spared the pleasantries, "Commander you are urgently needed in the After Dark, it is extremely important that you get down here as quickly as you can". He did not wait for a response and closed the call. Turning towards the waitress on duty he smiled, "Please assist the...", he looked over at the Pastafarian Pirates in horror, "Them", he pointed towards the group. He watched as she nodded and moved to the group and began taking orders.

When Amelia's combadge chirped, she looked up from the paperwork on the PADD she held, even though she didn't need to. Before she could even tap the badge to acknowledge the incoming call, the voice of the obnoxious lounge manager barked out at her and she winced at the tone of it. Then, as she touched her combadge to reply, the channel cut out. With that, she almost didn't care what was going on down in the lounge. She realized, as XO, she was required to care, but she did not care on a personal level. She'd leave it to security to care about it. So she paged them, and informed them that the lounge manager had lodged a vague complaint, and could someone please look into it? Then she went back to her paperwork.

Several minutes pass and Norbert began to get anxious as the XO didn't show. He watched as the waitress took the groups orders and without incident moved back to the bar to fulfill the Pastafarians requests.

"What are they asking for?", he said to her as she stepped behind the bar.

"Mostly Rum", she replied.

Norbert scoffed. "Of course" he said rolling his eyes. He watched as she prepared the drinks and before she could deliver them he motioned her away. "I'll take it from it here", he smiled grabbed the tray and an extra bottle of rum and moved to the table.

"Here we go", he said to the Pastafarians as he placed the drinks on their table and immediately looked to Noah. "So your Sister is Commander Waterhouse" Norbert watched as the pirate with the eye patch started to chug the bottle of rum he had brought. "Amazing how your two paths have winded so differently", he smiled at Noah.

"It is, isn't it?" Noah returned as he smiled politely and reached across the table to take the bottle of rum from the man with the eye patch. "Don't be rude, Jonesy," he admonished. "Leave some for the others and drink from your glass."

The door into the lounge opened, and in plodded Lieutenant JG Richard Castor. A request by the XO had required sending a security officer to see what the lounge manager was concerned about, and Castor pulled the short straw. Rumor wasn't kind to the lounge manager, but Richard hadn't been to the lounge yet, so it was only rumor to him. He spotted the man matching the description he was given, standing near a table filled with people dressed somewhat like pirates, so he walked over.

"Is there some problem, Mr. Bernard?" he asked as he came to a stop just off the man's elbow.

Bernard smiled as the security officer approached. He had already deduced that Waterhouse had most likely sent him here instead of showing herself. He looked at the security officer and shook his head. "Problem?, he said, "Why would there be a problem, who sent you?, he asked, looking back at Noah with a confused face.

"XO said she received a call from you, saying she needed to show up urgently, but did not explain why and cut the call before she could respond. So she sent me to make sure everything is okay," Castor explained, looking at the people at the table with curiosity. "Nice eyepatch," he directed at Jonesy, getting a smile and a glass raised in his direction for his troubles.

Gnocchi, having been ignored for her want of beverage by the bar, decided it was time to get all the attention she was missing. All she had wanted was something to drink, or maybe a boy-toy to play with. Now, no drink in hand, she was drunk on determination. With a howl and a terrifying gnarl she jumped off her stool and catapulted herself past the security officer.

Someone would have quoted her on her dialogue, however the words found no solid foundation in language, and she instead chose to bellow a series of mono-syllabic guttural sounds. They sounded like some kind of tongue, but the universal translator did not seem to lock onto anything in the random, spastic noise. Whilst running through the door she threw up her arms, and her blouse was left behind, carelessly discarded in favor of a more natural exposure. Out in the corridor, the topless monster could be heard screaming in either pleasure or terror, and no one was sure which.

"Cnocchi!" Noah called out her name, standing up and reaching a hand after her. At the same time, the security officer spun in place and took off after her, collecting the blouse as it floated to the floor.

"Miss!" he called, sliding through the doors as they slid open entirely too slowly. He continued to call after her as he gave chase, but soon his voice was drowned out by hers. Noah sighed softly and settled back in his chair.

"She'd been having such a good day," he muttered. "New environments overwhelm her, I'm sorry about that." He looked to Norbert again apologetically.
