| Personal History | Desmond grew up in a house of privilege even by Federation standards. His father was captain of several deep space vessels and his mother was a Federation Senator. He studied at some of the best Starfleet preparatory schools in the Federation and it was no surprise that he entered Starfleet first as an enlisted man when he was 16 and continued his studies while onboard the USS Intrepid until he turned 18 and entered the Academy. | |
