Pallas Medal This award is to be handed out to officers who, through their character, contribute to the plot by making important contributions to the simulations plot by interacting with the Commanding Officer as well as the Executive Officer. |

Kelly Award for Technical Merit This award can be given to any simmer who has made a noteworthy achievement that has technological overtones. A security officer, for example, who managed to rewire his phaser to distribute a life-saving drug, or a medical officer who creates a new diagnostic tool that is sensitive to a new particle, etc. Any officer who makes a significant technological achievement, regardless of the department to which they belong can be eligible for the Kelley Award. This award is decided upon by CO/XOs and awarded by the Subfleet Commander. |

Star Cross for Merit This award is presented to an officer by the CO for major contributions which they have made to the Simulation. This award is recommended for plot related achievements, such as taking an active part in carrying the plot forward by writing logs for an IRC sim or extra logs for email sims. |

Combat Citation Awarded by the Fleet Commander to an individual or to all members of a sim for honorably serving in a combat situation. |

Polaron Burst Ribbon An OOC crew award. This award is presented to a crew for simming excellence at the conclusion of a sim or particularly excellent set of logs. Fleet command presents this award to a crew after demonstrating excellent simming ability, going above and beyond the normal standard. |

Obsidian Citation A unique award, the Obsidian is presented to a CO or XO by their crew to recognize outstanding leadership. Any crew that feels that they have a command staff member who is particularly deserving of the Obsidian Citation should contact the Fleet Staff, who will assist them in the awarding process. |

Nova Cross for Merit Award for a large OOC accomplishment that is visible on the Subfleet level even if it was only intended to affect one simulation. |

Distinguished Service Order Awarded for actions above and beyond the call of duty whilst on an active mission or operation, whilst showing OOC leadership and character development. This medal is not for any specific action, but rather a summary of the total mission. This cannot be issued for training missions. |

Community Builder Citation This crew member is always going out of his/her way to help the crew connect with one another and knit the sim much closer together. |

The Kirk Medallion for CO of the Year This award is given annually in January of each year and is decided upon by nominations from Fleet COs. One CO is chosen from the nominations received. Reasons supporting the nomination are required, but post samples are not. |

Bergen Awarded to the personnel of a sim who receives the Bergen Award. The Andrew Bergen Simming Award is presented to the best SIM in UCIP within a certain year. The year being a Presidential Administration cycle (1st August to 31st July). The Bergen is usually presented by the President, in consultation with the Starfleet Commander, to the SIM that displays the best qualities of UCIP. This is measured through logging quantity, quality, consistency & performance. Also evaluated are command team performance, crew interaction, fleet interaction, and crew attitude. For IRC SIM's, this only changes to that of SIM meeting consistency, performance, attendance & regularity. Bergen Award winners will be recorded on the UCIP LCARS system for posterity for the year they won the award, and will have the right to bear the ribbon on their SIM front page, as well as on all crew member biography's. |
