When I parted ways with my new superior, one Cardassian Lieutenant Commander named Almar Dahe'el, I'd originally headed to his office like he'd suggested but it soon became apparent that all the noise of the engineering wasn't going to allow me to focus at the task assigned to me. So instead I headed back to my quarters.
I'd gotten most of programming done and started on the tech specs to hand to cybernetics when I became stuck. This was even with my noise room collection playing to serve as a distraction from the other sounds a starship makes. Knowing I'd need to let my subconscious to work on it a little, I decided to start unpacking with the intention of going back to it in a half hour, and seeking help if I was still unable to move forward.
I didn't get far into my unpacking efforts as I was interrupted with an unexpected, though not unwelcome, call from Tierney. My friend's in a bad situation, and she was asking for my help. Once I finish the tiny sound probes, I need to start working up the contract we'll be sending to Nug in order to get Tierney a ship.
Something about the conversation allowed Saint Vidicon to reach out and help me, letting me finish the specs for the cybernetics lab and wrap up the programming. I forwarded it to cybernetics and once they get back to me, I'll let Dahe'el know.
