Elar was called up to the bridge by Marine CaptainTripae Lione the Chief Combat Information Officer. She was the one that would relay targets and any other information that the fighters would need while out performing their duties. Elar smiled when he thought of her but got rid of it when he walked up to the tactical pool table, "Captain."

"Ah.....el-tee." Tripae said looking up from the sector map, "wanted to go over the SOP for the CAPs while we locate where this distress signal was coming from." Elar nodded and put two hands on the pool table and looked at the map luckily the sector looked pretty unremarkable. "So the sector and system for that matter is pretty much a dead one theres the colony we're looking for and very few shipping lanes and than of course the neutral zone."

Elar nodded, "how much leeway do we've with the neutral zone?" Knowing that ships have easily crossed the NZ without even realizing it seeing as there isn't a actual line running down the quadrants showing where it was.

"Like always try and stay on our side if we do cross it we'll use the same excuse we've been using since it's birth." Tripae said with a smirk and shrug, "plus with all the internal fighting going on within the Empire my guess would be majority of the ships have been pulled off the border to protect the inner systems."

Elar nodded this was gonna be tricky area of space but he enjoyed that challenge. "Alright I figure we'll do flights instead of elements and we'll drop buoys here, here, here and here giving us a nice little sensor net."

Tripae nodded, "I'll also see if flight control can spare some auxiliary pilots for shuttles acting as AWACs I don't want to be caught off guard." Tripae added. "Okay I think that'll cover everything and el-tee watch your six." Tripae said giving the pilot a quick smirk.

"Always do and you watch over us Overwatch." Elar said giving the Captain a quick wink as he walked off the bridge and down the pilots barracks. He needed to brief his pilots it was either going to be exciting or it was gonna be extremely dull and boring CAPs but either way they had a job to do and they were going to do it well like they always did.
