Mission:
In the Dark
Location: Vindicator Corridor
Timeline: After the ceremony - back log
Chloe looked around giving a sign of relief as she noticed that the party was over. Heading for the exit she had every intention of getting out of this dress and into her uniform, maybe sneak in an hour or so on the holodeck there was a Klingon program she wanted to look into was suppose to be one hell of a fight, or maybe that Borg invasion would be better?
She didn't know nor did she care all she cared about was the risk, the thrill, the need to feel that rush through her system. The feline enjoyed every second of it. there was no way she could get enough of the holodeck.
Rochelle had been making haste towards her own quarters, knowing Almar would be following closely behind, though far enough away to avoid giving rise to crew rumor. The Captain's happiness had become his mission, or so she truly felt as she rubbed her bare arms. It wasn't long before she ran into another member of the ship's crew, a security officer that had been a recent acquisition. "Good evening." she nodded in greeting.
"Good evening." Chloe said in turn unsure if she should continue on to her quarters or not this was after all the captain of the ship. "I am Chloe Ebonheart." She introduced herself instead walking along side the Captain.
"Pleasure to meet you." The elegant redhead responded, continuing to walk along.
"I'm sorry I was not able to report directly to you when I first came on board, but I came at a time when you were unavailable." Chloe said with a slight nod
Rochelle nodded lightly, "I trust it Commander Waterhouse handled your needs?" She more stated than asked, casting a glance back over to the security officer.
"Yes she did," Chloe smiled, "She has made me feel most welcomed as has Crewman Dupont." She smiled softly at the thought of Cecil.
"Good. I'm glad to hear it." The Captain offered a small smile in response, "I trust you enjoyed the party?"
"I was more nervous then anything, until I saw Cecil, I just don't know enough of the crew to feel comfortable in that setting." Chloe admitted.
Rochelle chuckled lightly, "that's the best part of those things, the potential to meet faces you haven't had the chance to really get to know."
"That is true Captain, it just makes me nervous though I have met a fellow security officer. Though I believe I insulted her I am not sure." Chloe admitted.
The Captain's bare shoulders rose and fell in a shrug, "Different personalities are bound to clash, not everyone can be best friends." She said as she came to rest in front of the lift doors, "It's our prerogative to make sure we just act in a professional capacity. I doubt that will be trouble for you. Am I right, Lieutenant?"
"I have a duty to ensure that this ship is secure and my crew safe. that means keeping a cool and collected head on my shoulders." Chloe said with that natural purr. 'Which means I need to hit the holodeck soon.' Chloe thought to herself.
Rochelle nodded. "Good. Then I trust you'll make it work." She replied with a polite smile, "Now, your orders are to enjoy the rest of your evening."
"Of course captain." Chloe smirked giving her a salute with a smile having every intention of doing just that.
Another nod and Rochelle broke free, "Enjoy."
