Norbert paced back and forth in his small office. His meeting with the Captain was unexpected and worrysome. She was much smarter than he had expected unlike the XO who seemed quite glib and rather dim-witted, especially when compared to someone of his intelligence. But the Captain was different, he would need a different tactic with her. He had hoped that the gift he gave her would keep her from sniffing around, at least for a little while.

He looked towards the corner of the room where three crates were sitting, each one containing various highly regulated alcohols, medical supplies and stimulants. They were of course delivered expertly thanks in part to Commander PontBrillant. Norbert hadn't expected to convince Vilmar quite so easily and cheaply to expedite his shipments. Of course he was dealing with starfleet personnel after-all and for all their pompousness and talk about duty, most were all show and could always be bought for the right price. Vilmar's price appeared to be very high end and expensive alcohol which Norbert would be very happy to supply him.

The Lounge Manager laughed outloud, he was quite proud of himself. To be fair, Commander PontBrillant didn't exactly know what was inside these crates, he however didn't seem very keen on finding out either. Either way, Vilmar's highly expensive bundle of Alcohol had been documented and delivered to his quarters wrapped in a bow. Wether the Operations Officer liked it or not, he was involved now and it would be quite the bargaining chip to use against him if it ever came to that.

Norbert sat down behind his desk recalling the latest Gossip. He pulled up video files of Vilmar and the Captain sharing what appeared to be a rather intimate meal together inside the lounge. Rumors were quite loose with what happened afterwards. "Would be quite interesting to see how Commander Waterhouse would react to that news considering she was spotted outside of Vilmar's personal quarters not too long ago not to mention them kissing at the awards ceremony", he said aloud, chuckling deviously to himself. He smiled and leaned back into his chair feeling relieved. Sewing discord between this love triangle and most especially between the Captain and her XO, would be very good for business indeed.
