Calling it a night

Location: Main Engineering

Most of the day was done, Jenni was just cleaning up the area after finishing her work. There weren't many officers milling about the engines room most everyone else whom was ending their shifts had already left for the night. Jenni was heading out as well. She wanted to go home to her husband, though Hayden my still be in security. She placed a hand over her belly smiling softly to herself as she felt the child inside kick or move before since development wasn't that far along really, 4-5 months.

"Night Vincent." Jenni called out as she gathered her tool box to put away in her locker smiling to the other man whom had the night shift and was in charge of engineering for that shift.

"Night Jenni get plenty of rest." he said firmly before turning back to check on the quad core to make sure everything was in working order. He sighed updating the padd that the quad core was still working properly and no modifications were needed at this time and made his way to the office to see what needed to be done for the day.

Jenni left engineering there was a scheduled class coming into engineering tomorrow so that the teacher could show her students a working engineering and give them a feel for the environment for any of those that might wish to go into the Academy after finishing school. She was looking forward to that considering her child would no doubt be born in space and wanted to see how the teacher's on the Vindicator worked.

Making her way down the corridor, she stepped into the lift and made her way towards her deck, stepping off she walked slowly down the corridor to her quarters where she unlocked them and stepped inside. Once inside she made her way to the sleeping area she stripped and changed into something else and crawled into back where she started to read a book she'd started a couple of days ago and decided to wait up for Hayden.
