Mission: Are You Touched?
Timeline: Right before the recall

Shy is the perfect one word to describe Alexia, so much so that being seen outside of her lab was a rarity; if she was outside of her lab, it was for short bursts at a time mainly for nutrients, rest and hygiene. So for her to be down in the resort was like seeing a shooting star, it wasn't that Alexia didn't like people she just felt uncomfortable in unfamiliar locations, especially off ship.

Alexia was wearing simple jean shorts and a light blue t-shirt; even being on the planet surface she could feel the pull of needing and wanting to be back in space. Looking around she needed to get her mind occupied, as she started to walk she wasn't paying attention where she was going and walked right into someone.

"Oh, sorry, I didn't see you there." Lily said, she hadn't been paying attention to where she was going and had collided with the person. She turned around to face her. "Lily Charlson, I don't believe we've met."

"It.....it's okay," Alexia said rubbing her shoulder where the other women hit, "are you okay?"

"I'm fine, thank you, are you ok?" Lily asked as the other woman avoided the question of her name. "Can I get you anything?"

"Apologies, I am lieutenant junior grade Alexia Ducati, and no thank you not gonna be down here for long." Alexia said as she was enjoying the feel of natural light on her body but she was still very very anxious of being on the planet.

"It feels good to be able to get off the ship and stretch my legs really, I never really get a chance to get leave, there's always something that needs doing, it seems." She said as she leant back, taking in the natural light that was completely different to the artificial lighting of the ship.

"I don't like leaving the ship or space for that matter." Alexia said quietly walked out from underneath the entrance and looking up at the sky and pass it to space.

"And is there any in particular reason for that?" Lily asked as she followed Alexia out into the open air.

Alexia shrugged, "I don't know always been like this," she said still looking up at the sky and past it, "I'm a 'Boomer' child so not being on a ship feels strange."

"I do apologise, but im unsure what a 'boomer' child is." Lily said, confused.

"Boomer's the early freighter crews of Earth Cargo." Alexia said turning on the spot, "the early pioneers of space travel majority to all the children of the Boomers were born on the freighters I was no different minus the speed of the freighter."

"Interesting, I never knew that, so when are you due back on the ship?" Lily asked as she continued to walk alongside Alexia.

Alexia was about to answer when the call to return to the ship came through. "Now...." She said with nervous laughter looking around and finding the beam out spot, "care to beam up together?"

"Sounds good, maybe we'll meet sometime for a drink?" She said as they walked to the beaming spot.

"Maybe," Alexia said as the warm blue light surrounded them and whisked them away. Seconds later they were back on the Vindicator, "you can find me in the science labs if you want." Alexia said shrugging and heading off for her lab.

With that, Lily headed off to her quarters to rest before her duty shift at 0800.
