Honestly Jenny wasn't 100% sure what she should be doing so she was wandering around the ship making minor repairs. not all engineers could be helping the chief on the colony so she honestly didn't mind being left behind. Last week she'd repaired a couple of isolinear chips that had needed to be replaced. the bio neural gel packs never seemed to malfunction or need replacing until after a ship battle when damage has been done to the ship.

Today she had gotten cleared to do some maintenance on the transporters just to make sure they were up to snuff and there wouldn't be any issues. So that's where Jenny was today running a diagnostic on the transporters and realigning the pattern buffers to make sure they were where they should be. It wasn't really time consuming work, or real important, at least that's what ensign Grover things that she's being given the grunt work. forgetting of course that if anything when wrong with the transporters his matter would be spread to the different quadrants of space along the space currents if transporters malfunctioned.

Considering the crew used transporters more often than shuttles if it could be helped she preferred that they were maintained properly. with the pattern buffers realigned the diagnostic beeped at her, Jenny looked towards the transporter chief for the report.

"Everything is within normal parameters Lieutenant."

"Good thank you for putting up with my presences."

"Any time, better than having grumbling Grover here any day." The chief said with a chuckle while Jenny packed up her tool kit.
