Te'shara as walking along the corridor of the ship, feeling woozie, and she thought it could of eaten something bad, that was causing
her to be that way, she thought to keep walking on, then she leaned to the wall, still feeling woozie,before she dropped to the floor.

"Medical Emergency!"

Robyn, chatting to one of the medtechs, heard the nurses call from where they stood inside the main entrance to sickbay and as one, hurried to the doorway.
"There" the medtech said having looked right and moved away from Robyn who, having glanced in the other direction was last to spot the crumpled figure in the corridor.
She followed him quickly, kneeling too beside him but looking up at the nurse and saying: "Hover stretcher...quickly please."


Te'shara was there laying on the ground feeling sick as ever, as the medical teams, were there, and getting the stretcher. It just had to be..

She was lifted on and a fast pace soon had her in sickbay and another lift had her on the biobed where the overbed display went wild.
Robyn tapped in commands to alter the biosigns away from 'Standard Human' to Caitian then picked up a tricorder ready to scan.
"Its ok." she said to her patient. "You're in Sickbay. No need to worry. "

Te'shara was laying on the bio bed, looking up at the medical person."I'm glad i am, my stomach is hurting really badly, I dont know what happened,
i dont know if its something I ate, or what. ow,ow." Te'shara was in alot of pain, and did not know what could be wrong..

Robyn glanced up at the overbed display which began to register the current occupant of the biobed. The readings agreed with what the tricorder was showing.

"3CCs Asinolyathin." Robyn told the attending nurse. A moment later she was handed a hypospray which she held against Te'sharas neck.

"This will help you." Robyn said.

Te'shara was on the bio bed, getting a shot of the hypospray, to her neck, "Thanks i needed that,"she said as she continued to lay on the bio
bed, and hold her stomach...

"Just need a sample of blood...can you lay your arm...that's fine...perfect."
Robyn lifted the full vial away, smiling at the patient as she did so, and handed it to the nurse. "Basic please." she said and the nurse nodded before heading off to the nearest lab.

"How are you feeling apart from the pain here?" Robyn asked holding a hand above Te'sharas that guarded her abdomen. " Any sickness or headache...anything like that recently?

Te'shara had her arm raised,feeling sick all over,"I don't know if it was something I ate or what."She said laying there on the bio bed.
"my stomach is the only thing im in pain right now."Te'shara said, "I also got a slight headache, but it feels like a Migraine."Te'shara also said..

"Mmmm." came the non-committal response. "You're certainly running a temperature. " Robyn clicked off the tricorder. "Back in a minute." she said "....just try to relax."

In the lab, the nurse had already achieved the test results and turned as the doctor entered the room.
"Thanks." she said as the nurse handed the medpadd over before returning to clear the bench.
Robyn began to retrace her steps, reading the results as she went.

{Ohhhhh dear.} she thought {Not good}

Back beside the bed once more she revealed the news.

"Results show you have a virus." she said " V1 S1 28...you may already know of it..it's a type of cat flu"

Te'shara looked at her,"A cat flu?,how did i catch it, I haven't been on Cait in a long while."she said , with a head full of Questions.
She was so confused over this flu business, it really disturbed her,as she was holding her stomach..,,

"Mmm..I need to do further tests to answer that." Robyn replied. "For the meantime you will have to remain here....and don't worry about it." she added which was really much easier said than done.

The attending nurse returned so Robyn took the opportunity to seek out the CMO.

Te'shara did as she was told, and layed on the bio bed ,as she was told, holding her stomach, and feeling some kind of pain,"gggggrrrrrrowl" she was quite upset.

Robyn tracked down the CMO in his office where he was about to take a break and enjoy a moments peace and a drink.

"Sir? Sorry to bother you." she said "...but there's someone you need to see." Approaching his desk, she offered the medpadd to him.
"It's rather unusual and the patient says she hasn't been in anywhere likely to cause the illness"

Te'shara continued to lay on the bio bed, and trying to rest,by closing her eyes,and not to lay on her tail a certain way.

Rotek nodded and followed Maxwell out into the bay. Calmly he said "What's going on Ensign? Is it an issue you can't deal with yourself?" He didn't mean to come across as being unkind, he was just a bit edgy at the moment.

"You need to see it Sir." Robyn replied more or less keeping pace with him. " Preliminary tests show its V1 S1 28...a reportable occurence." As the CMO glanced at her, Robyn explained that the Caitian female patient had brought herself to sickbay. " She's in here." Robyn ended and pointed the way to the bay.

Nodding, Rotek followed her to the biobed of R'heil and after reading the padd about her condition, scanned her with a tricorder. As he was doing so, he said "Hello Lieutenant. I'm sorry I was late coming to see you. How are you feeling?"

Te'shara laid on the bio bed,"Not so good, doc, I'm in pain in my stomach."Te'shara said to the Doctor.


Nodding, he said "I understand Lieutenant. When did first occur, and did you eat or drink anything that you wouldn't normally consume?"

Te'shara looked at the medical person,"It first occured in the middle of my shift."she said, holding her stomach."mrrrooww" she yelled out.
