Mission: Are You Touched?
Location: USS Vindicator - Guest Quarters 8C01

"... Yes. Confirmed, I have received the payment.", stated the Ferengi, as a tall bronzed skinned man shut the oddly looking monitor off. The PADD, of Atlantean origin, was used by Mikkal as he did not trust Starfleet and its communication system, especially for such a transaction. He was also suspicious of being followed and listen two. For one, a tall caitian women had been appearing in his life a little too often to his liking, either at the civilian lounge or the viewport, even at the holodecks. Normally, if anyone else would have followed him, he probably had no idea, but since she was a caitian and that Mikkal never saw a caitian before, it made a mark on his mind and kept recognizing her in places where an officer wouldn't necessarily hang around.

For two, he expected to be spied on, following the coronation of Queen Rochelle, and the events following it. Knowing that Starfleet had fantastic systems and computer omnipresence, he knew it was just a question of commanding the computer and all his conversations and actions would be recorded. However, knowing this, Mikkal had equipped his PADD with a blocking device, giving him significantly more privacy that expected.

However, he knew he had a major card in his pocket if time required drastic actions, a call for refugee status. The request would be granted upon hearing, due to Mikkal filling the basic requirement: 1. Coming from a non-Federation signatory planet, 2. Had genuine reasons to believe security might be in jeopardy by individuals or government if returning to origin.

Mikkal thought of that refugee plan while walking around in his deck. He did not wish to leave it, as he was concerned that the turbo lift would be used to ambush him, again. It was while walking that he actually had his second idea, a way to get back at Queen Rochelle and her beloved friend Amelia. He knew that the ship would stop at Q'onos, just from hearing from the other civilians in the area. He also heard that the Captain had reserved an entire block for her senior officers and crew at the hotel complex. Therefore, the bronze skinned man expected the Captain, herself, to go down and possibly enjoy the nightlife of the resort, which was, after all, well ranked in the vacation areas of the quadrant.

From this information and idea, Mikkal rushed back to his quarters, activated the blocking device of his PADD and contacted the owner of Qapla', as informed by a fellow civilian aboard. The owner was quite happy to be awarded a high price in latinum in exchange to sharing some information to contact of Mikkal, currently on Qo'noS.

Happily, Mikkal exited his quarters, heading towards the civilian lounge, now beginning the waiting game.
