Mission Summary

While the Vindicator is mapping a region of space not far from where they last stopped, they receive a call from a remote Romulan colony in need of assistance.

The crew quickly learns that this colony is in fact very remote, situated outside the currently known borders of Romulan space. This has the unfortunate side effect of putting the colony outside regular supply routes so they are short of just about every supply imaginable.

As the Federation is not currently involved in hostilities with the Romulan Star Empire and this is apparently an entirely civilian colony, they make their way to the planet to render what aide they can.

They quickly find that the inhabitants of his colony have begun to fall victim to a severely debilitating and ultimately deadly illness that they have been unable to identify or treat.
